Have you always wanted to give Weaving a go but felt it looked a bit daunting?
Our workshops have been designed to introduce you to the craft in a calm and relaxed way, leaving you wanting to do more!!
Whether you are a complete beginner or have had a go before, there is a workshop suitable for you.
You can choose to learn on a Frame Loom or Table Loom for a 3 hour session, or you can throw yourself in and come to a 2 day workshop where you will learn how to set up a loom from scratch.
Rebecca also offers 1 to 1 or Q & A sessions, so do contact her to find out more.
We have these great little Frame Looms which are suitable for all ages, beginner or experienced Weavers. You can buy the Loom as a kit with instructions and yarn to get you going, or if you have a stash of fibre already, you can buy just the Loom.

I thoroughly enjoyed attending the weaving workshop at Dobby & Rose. Rebecca was absolutely charming and knowledgeable and so well prepared! Everything was ready for us. We learned a lot about the process of weaving, setting up and getting everything ready and then we got stuck in to the fun bit of weaving and creating a piece of cloth which we took away with us. I would highly recommend attending one of Rebecca’s workshops if you’re interested in learning about weaving and giving it a go. What an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon! Thank you.
I so enjoyed my 2 days in Rebecca's studio learning to set up my table loom. She is a brilliant coach and teacher, was so generous in sharing her knowledge and experience to make the whole process enjoyable and productive. If (like me) you have done lots of lovely weaving courses where the loom is already set up, but then find yourself bewildered when it comes to designing a (simple) project, setting up your loom or even understanding the pattern books, this course is for you. I wish I had found Rebecca when I first thought about learning to weave. I left her studio yesterday feeling confident that I will now achieve my goal of being a weaver.
If you can't find what you are looking for, please send us your contact details and Rebecca will get back to you.
Thank you for requesting a chat. Rebecca will get in touch as soon as she has finished weaving. In the meantime, feel free to browse the Homewares section.
